Sample Course Planners
First Year (Burnaby Campus option)
The first year of the BBA program consists of preparatory study which includes required and elective courses.
In the first year of study at the Burnaby campus, BBA students complete required courses and elective courses of their choice. It is recommended that students limit their enrollment to 3-4 courses in their first semester at SFU to ensure a successful transition.
Scholarship students should review the conditions of their award for the number of credits they must enrol in.

Over the course of the BBA, students must register in and complete six mandatory Business Career Passport workshops. The six Business Career Passport workshops may be completed in any order before graduation. Based on a typical student schedule, it is recommended that students take the Networking & Business Etiquette as well as Job Search Strategies workshops by the end of their second year (and the Self-Assessment workshop if not already completed). Third and Fourth Years
In third and fourth year, students select one or more areas of concentrations. During third year, students complete the core business courses as well as some courses towards their concentration(s). In their final year, students take classes exclusive to their concentration(s) and any outstanding elective requirements.
